Finca rústica en Orihuela, Alicante
Orihuela, Zona de, Desamparados - Hurchillo - Torremendo
Very rare oportunity to purchase a plot with small existing house (fully legal) on the edge of a beautiful natural park in front and surrounded by lemonorange fields. The current building is in poor condition but could potentially be refurbished however it would probably be easier to demolish and start again. The plot is approxitmately 372m2 and even has services already on site. The property is positioned quite literally on the very edge of a pretty natural park on the outskirts of Orihuela city in the small typically Spanish village of Desamparados. The property itself is only a short 5 minute walk to the village where you wll find all the essentials for everyday living including 2 small supermarkets, pharmacy, tobaconist, doctors, banks, hairdressers, petrol station and of course various village cafes. The village is also home to part of the Miguel Hernandez University campus so properties in this area are always in demand for rental should you be lookng at an investment property. The property whilst on a well maintained track, is only a short distance, approximatly 150m from a tarmac road. This track marks the boundary for the natural park which will quite literally be on your doorstep. The park has a large number of trees consisting of a variety of species including Pine, Olive, Oak, etc. The park is home to various forms of wildlife including various species of birds, ducks, squirels, hedgehogs, etc. Bordering the other side of the park in the famous river Segura which has wide walking paths on both sides along which if you head west you can walk to Orihuela and beyond. Heading East you will find yourself in other typically small Spanish villages and eventually end up in large Murcia City, albeit after a very long walk! The beautiful historic city of Orihuela is only a short 4km drive or if you prefer walking it is around a 45 minute walk along the river path. Orihuela, as with any mid sized city, has a large range of independant shops plus the Ociopia shoppi
