Nestled in the heart of a beautiful neighborhood, built as the summer homes of Madrid's 1970s middle class, on the edge of a natural park. This apartment is a rare find. The inhabitants of this house wake to birdsong, enjoy peace and quiet, and leisurely strolls & bike rides in La Dehesa Vieja, just a six minute walk away. There, holm oaks, rock roses, and walking paths abound, leading you on to ever more beautiful views of the mountains and the reservoir.

Also six minutes away, you'll find a bus stop that goes to Moncloa, Madrid, the 661, in 33 minutes. The same bus in the opposite direction makes for a great day trip, in 20 minutes you'll be in San Lorenzo de El Escorial.

Street parking is abundant. We speak English, German, and Spanish. Two references are required, one from a previous landlord. Three paystubs (nominas) or proof of solvency are required. One month of deposit via bank transfer required to reserve the apartment. Smoking/drugs prohibited. Cats welcome, no dogs. We don’t have cable TV. Utilities (electricity, wifi, water) are not included. Wifi turns off automatically at 11pm and goes on again at 6am. Heating and hot water are electric. Maximum 2 people. Available now. 

We’re looking for kind, sincere, quiet, friendly, nature lovers. We have a curious two year old and cat. We enjoy yoga, meditating, vegetable gardening, maintaining the house, singing in the church choir, and going on long walks. You are welcome to cultivate your own little patch of earth outside your front door. Looking forward to meeting you!
